Week 4 announcements (April 2)

Thank you for your flexibility with schedule changes regarding meets last week. We accomplished our goal of having everyone compete during the weekend. Saturday Results are posted under team handouts and results tab. Honor Roll updated!

Monday
- Team meeting: front gym. Discuss fundraiser. Handout waiver for zero gravity. Return by end of week.

Wednesday
- Time trial at Mounds View with Forest Lake and East Ridge. Field events start at 3:45. Track events start at 4:00. Line-up is posted!!!

Thursday
- Informal meeting: front gym. Collect fundraiser orders and money.

Friday:
- No School. Practice regular time

Saturday:
- Easter Egg Hunt to start practice 9 am

Medical and transportation forms
- Reminder to turn in the transportation and medical forms.

Week 3 Announcements

Welcome back from Spring Break!

1) CLOTHING APPAREL website is available check here The website will close Wednesday night March 28 at midnight.

2)
Team fundraiser - cookie dough. Athletes will receive information at practice on Monday. incentives: top seller = free haircut from Hair on Earth, #2 seller = will receive $1 per box sold, anyone that sells over 20 boxes = pull from money bag, anyone that sells over 25 boxes will receive a track backpack with name.
All money and orders due = Thursday April 5
Cookie dough delivery = Thursday April 19

3) Upcoming dates and announcements

Monday
Team meeting: front gym. Kickoff fundraiser - all athletes will receive information regarding sales of cookie dough. ALL ATHLETES are expected to participate.

Tuesday
Parents meeting (7 - 8 pm) in the cafeteria at Mounds View HS. This is MANDATORY for athletes and at least one parent/guardian.

Thursday
Uniforms will be handed out.

Saturday:
Time Trial @ Mounds View (10:30 - 1:30 pm)
St Thomas Select Indoor Meet - this will be for specific athletes that qualify

Medical forms and Transportation forms
Remind for all athletes to turn in the transportation and medical forms to the coaches.
It is very important that we have updated medical information - please communicate anything the coaches should know.


Spring Break Announcements

Spring break practices - check with event coach regarding practice times.

Hurdles/Jumps/Sprints/Long Sprints will practice 10 - 12 at Mounds View Monday thru Saturday of Spring Break. 

Spring Break expectations
If you are in town you are expected to attend practice! These practices will get you ahead of the curve.

There are no consequences for going on a trip. If you are out of town check with your event coach before leaving about possible workouts.

Shoes - very important! Check out Run N Fun in St Paul or Right Fit Running in Mounds View. They will provide solid advice regarding the best type of shoe for your feet. Competitive spikes can also be purchased at these sites. Check with your coaches if you have any questions!


Week 1 Announcements

1) Monday - first practice begins in front gym. BRING YOUR GOLD SLIP from registration.

2) Spring break practices - check with event coach.


Spring Break expectations - there are no consequences for going on a trip. We ask all athletes if they are in town to attend practice. These practices will get you ahead of the curve. If you are out of town we ask all newcomers to try and be "active" in some capacity during the trip, returners can ask for specific workouts.

3) Shoes - very important! Check out Run N Fun in St Paul or Right Fit Running in Mounds View. They will provide solid advice. 

4) Be prepared for change in weather.

5) Take care of the temple! Your body is your temple! Rest, nutrition, icing and cold soaking are daily needs.
